RUSSIAN TRADE CLOTH : ROLLER PRINT ON COTTON
Ivanovo, that is for about 200 kms north of Moscow was the textile producing area in Russia between the years 1860 and 1960. Several mills that were in that area were specializing in textile production for the bazaars of Central Asia. Central Asians used the fabric to line their ikat robes, trappings and several other household items.
